Club Coronavirus Protocol and Risk Assessment

As one of the first sports to be allowed to resume, there is a major responsibility for golf clubs and golfers to ensure that our sport is conducted in a safe and responsible manner. Full adherence to the provisions of this Protocol is absolutely essential. It should be noted that the Government continues to monitor the situation closely and has not ruled out the reintroduction of restrictions which could see golf clubs closed once again if the Protocols are not followed.

We hope that our members fully embrace the new Protocols as they have been put in to safeguard every one of us, and they could become the new norm for many months.

In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic, and in line with England Golf’s ‘Play Safe, Stay Safe’ guidance, you must agree to the following code of conduct prior to completing your online tee time booking.

At all times, social distancing measures MUST be observed, and a tee time MUST be pre-booked online prior to using the course. NO BOOKING, NO PLAY!

This is for Coronavirus safety reasons and traceability if there was to be an outbreak.

For golfers, the measures cover each step of the journey from home to 1st tee and back home again. At the golf courses, these measures are in place seven days a week.
